The Maple Series- 1728N
The WFL III PureTone shells are constructed of custom cut plies of North American hard maple. These shells are sourced here in the US. The plies are cut to our specs to be EXTRA thin, at a 4.9mm for our snare drums, compared to our previous 5.65mm. These 100% Maple shells are naturally balanced and open in their sound, allowing the drummer to be in creative control of tone and feel. We complete this shell with hand-finished 45-degree bearing edges for maximum head contact, custom WFL III springless lugs, Remo Ambassador heads, and 2.3mm triple flanged hoops for maximum full-bodied attack.
